A decade ago, the peasants of the small agrarian kingdom of Livenberg rebelled against their cruel and decadent king. They won only thanks to the backing of Florean Hayer, a pious nobleman who then led the newly formed "Green Mountain Republic" in it's first years of freedom. On his death, an election was held and Winter Moon, a humble peasant and veteran of the rebellion became the country first president. His first action was to end the country isolation and start a process of modernization of it's society.
